The Sibiling Support Project and SibNet. Exchange information and support through one of the nation's first online resources for sibs. Connect with sibs from across the country!
sibsNYcommunity, an online forum where siblings can share information and resources specific to NY (throughout the entire state), as well as stories and support.
AHRC Adult Sibling Support Group. The group meets the 1st Monday of every month from 6:15-8:00 p.m. in lower Manhattan. The group is designed to provide an opportunity to share experiences and be heard in a supportive environment. For further information visit ahrcnyc.org and click on “Sibling Services.”
YAI Adult Sibling Group. Connect with siblings throughout the NYC area through conferences, volunteer opportunities, and social events with and without our siblings with intellectual and developmental disabilities. For more information please call 212-273-6534.
Manhattan JCC Adult Sibling Group. This group provides support for adult siblings who grew up in families where a brother or sister had special needs. In a small group format, the personal experiences of the participants will be shared as a way to better understand and cope with some of the life-long issues they face as siblings.
